I'm excited to track my deals, and hopefully help others in finding them. My goal is to spend $50/week on grocery and household items, while still maintaining a healthly diet. I am more than prepared to have weeks that this is not possible- either by necessity or choice- at the same time I am well prepared to have weeks under my budget! Monday Meals 4/11
I've found it's much easier to stay on budget when I have a PLAN for the week of what's for dinner. It makes things much less stressful when I come home- and if I have a plan I'm much less likely to take the easy way out and drive through for fast food on the way home.
Monday: Chicken Quesadillas
Shredded chicken leftover from crock pot chicken last week
Lowe's Food Tortillas 1.50
Shredded Cheese .80 (B1G1 & coupon)
Tuesday: Baby Back Ribs & Salad
Ribs 2.97/lb @ HT (I've seen these for much lower- but was in the mood for ribs!)
Lettuce .99, Carrots & Tomatoes
Wednesday: Chicken Quesadillas (using the last of the shredded chicken!)
Thursday: Reservations @ Melting Pot for Free Cheese Fondue!
