I've found it's much easier to stay on budget when I have a PLAN for the week of what's for dinner. It makes things much less stressful when I come home- and if I have a plan I'm much less likely to take the easy way out and drive through for fast food on the way home.
Monday: Chicken Quesadillas
- Shredded chicken leftover from crock pot chicken last week
- Lowe's Food Tortillas 1.50
- Shredded Cheese .80 (B1G1 & coupon)
Tuesday: Baby Back Ribs & Salad
- Ribs 2.97/lb @ HT (I've seen these for much lower- but was in the mood for ribs!)
- Lettuce .99, Carrots & Tomatoes
Wednesday: Chicken Quesadillas (using the last of the shredded chicken!)
Thursday: Reservations @ Melting Pot for Free Cheese Fondue!
Friday: Chicken Thighs w/ frozen veggies
- Chicken Thighs 1.27/lb @ HT until Tuesday
Saturday: Leftovers
Sunday: Use Domino's giftcard- order pizza!
that is what we have been trying to do but our budget is $100 week for all needs
