Why Coupon?

Should have started out with this post- but- better late than never! My favorite example of why to coupon is a cereal example from Jenny at SouthernSavers.

You could buy a box of cereal for $4 a box, every week for six weeks and pay $24. Or, buy six boxes of cereal at their rock bottom price and use coupons. Pay only $6 total for six boxes of cereal.
You save $18 by purchasing them at the right time and stocking up.

Now, imagine buying ALL of your items at rock bottom price with coupons- and that's when you'll find your significant savings!

How much will you save compared to the amount of time you will spend clipping, planning and shopping? See Yahoo Finance article HERE
